Consider water saving measures for testing systems
- install systems such as zonecheck and bellcheck valves that allows water to be recalculated through the various valve assemblies, rather than having to pump water through the whole system (3 - website www.projectfire.co.uk)
- install systems to return water to the sprinkler tanks when testing the main installation and zone valves (2 - website www.projectfire.co.uk)
Consider recycled/greywater for sprinkler/hosereel systems
- supply for the sprinklers from the rainwater / greywater systems, when available (1 - section DS6)
