Encourage material, products and techniques that reduce waste

Consider opportunities to reduce the creation of waste and the amount of new materials used in the building
- pre-demolition audit, reclamation valuation and environmental quantification of the building (3 - page 1)
- liaison with potential contractors to establish costs and any plans they have for reuse or recycling (3 - page 1)
- reuse existing fittings, fixtures and furniture wherever possible (3 - page 1)
