Minimise the noise effects of the construction process to neighbouring users
- measures to minimise noise during construction, e.g. using barriers and screens (3 - section 4.2, 1 - section 3.5)
Minimise the noise effects of the building to neighbouring users
- systems design in accordance with local authority requirements for noise levels around the building (2 - measure D7.4)
- plant rooms located away from noise-sensitive areas, both inside and outside (2 - section D7)
- all systems reviewed for potential nuisance from noise (2 - section D7)
- duct and pipework designed to avoid vibration (2 - section D7)
