How to Search

The CIBSE Sustainability Tool's search is similar to web search engines such as Google or Yahoo.

Basic Searching

In the above example, all measures that contain or are related to 'windows' will be found.

Searches are not case-sensitive so 'windows' is treated the same as 'WINDOWS' or 'WinDows'

By default, the tool will look for all keywords entered. 'windows doors' is the same as 'windows and doors'

You can also search for measures that contain windows or doors.

If you have a exact phrase such as 'hot water services' , you can search for this by enclosing the phrase in quotation marks as shown below.

You may want to search for the word 'hot' but exclude anything containing 'water' in order to narrow down your results.

You can do this by including a minus (-) sign before the word to exclude.
